Moving Checklist:

🏠 Immediately after moving in (within the first few days)

 

• Register your place of residence (change of address at the residents' registration office): within 14 days; required: identity card/passport and confirmation from your landlord (always on the last page of your contract).

🖥️ Contracts and services·

• Set up internet and telephone connections (do this early, allow for waiting times).·

• Please check with your Insurance company if an Household Insurance is needed.·
• Check/adjust your liability insurance.

 

📬 Post and address changes·

 

• Write your name on the letterbox – please ask your Building supervisor for assistance.·

• Write your name on the doorbell – please contact your Building supervisor.

🧹 Apartment and surroundings·

​

• Read the house rules (rubbish disposal, quiet hours, cleaning duties).·

• Understand the rubbish separation system and check collection dates.
